I wanted to put this up earlier, but school has been kicking my butt this week. Here is a picture of my Krichim family last Saturday night as we got ready to eat. Mladen, my host brother, wanted me to point out that we are all in one room because it is too expensive to heat other rooms. He said we were like all the forest animals in the old man's mitten.

Oh Andy, PLEASE tell me Slavi was not drinking his father's rakiya...I can't even drink that stuff, and we all know I can hold my rakiya.

Uh no. He's like a buck, a buck oh nine. A sip of that stuff would kill him. And anyways there isn't anymore of Mladen's home brew, he already went through his winter supply. Hey, I'm as disappointed as you. And yes, we ALL know you can hold your rakiya. We are all very proud. For those who don't know, Rebecca is a true alcohol champ. Try it sometime, tell her she's a lightweight and watch the games begin...
Becca, I think a rakiya drink off is in order next week! We'll see if Mustafa can play along! We'll all get the snot beat out of us!!
and, following Liz's game, the verification word is "fabifi." Is that a verb, like to make fabulous? b/c i'm gonna fabifi some veggies tonight and make a killer soup in my crock pot - to be shared w/ my vegan site mates (okay, veggie soup and spaghetti are all I know how to cook for them...)
